contact me

Now is a good time to contact me to discuss my waiting list, I may be able to start your portrait within a few months, or it may be around a years time. If you would like to proceed, I will add you to my waiting list. It helps me plan if you have a photo in mind, but of course you can have longer to think about this!

CONTACT ME
your commission slot

You've waited patiently and I am about to start your portrait. I will send you a message to confirm final details such as sizing, whether or not to include the collar, or ask for a photo if I don't have one already. Once we have agreed on portrait details, I ask for 25% of the portrait price upfront.

I WILL GET TO WORK

I will start to plan the composition of your portrait and map out an outline to guide me - I will plot out the darkest and lightest sections to help me create depth as I get stuck into the portrait. I don't usually send progress pictures as I think a surprise is nice for the both of us - but if you would like these, please ask when I start. I usually take them along the way and send them to you upon completion so you can see how your portrait came together.

COMPLETION & APPROVAL

When the portrait is finished, I will send you a photo for approval. The remaining fee is then due for payment.

I'll then lovingly pack and post your portrait out to you, usually arrival is within a day or two. I am always so grateful when my clients post a photo and a recommendation on social media. I'm sure you can imagine, word of mouth is so invaluable for artists with a business like mine. I would really appreciate it, if you do, please remember to tag me so that I can see it!
