These pencils are an excellent choice, they're oil based, very lightfast and quite a hard pencil, meaning you are able to sharpen to a fine point. Whilst one pencil will set you back in the region of a whole 12 pack of Crayola's - they're relatively cheap and a good value professional artist pencil.
These are my all time favourite pencils! They are a bit expensive - but worth it! They are wax based and blend beautifully. The colour range is stunning and features a variety of lighter colours, which a lot of brands are unfortunately lacking.
Another excellent choice from Caran D'ache, these are again, wax based. They are more affordable than Luminance but still a very good quality. They are very opaque and blend very well.
This is my absolute favourite paper, it has a slight grain to it which feels almost like a smooth sand paper which really lets you layer up your pencils to create beautiful depth. It is one of the more expensive papers that I have seen but the cost is worth it as it is such a forgiving paper.
This is a tool that I use for 95% of my drawings - it is invaluable to me. It makes my life so much easier! It enables me to create fine details, even when the tooth of the paper is saturated with pigment, and allows you to create light highlights over any colour. I specifically use the Craft Knife and the Precision Cutter. If you're in the UK, you can use my code OSBORNE10UK to give you 10% discount on Slice Products' website.
This eraser is perfect for precision erasing. Not only does it have a 2.3mm diameter but it is also very sturdy.
